Plus Size Brand Lookbook with Wolfairy by Becky Barnes

Plus size brand Wolfairy have been in my consciousness for a few years now, but I’ve never purchased from them before. When owner Justyna got in touch I was really interested to hear her story and how she has built the brand from scratch. With many of the designs her own and all made either here in the UK, Italy or Poland.

Plus Size Brand with a Lagenlook Influence

When you take a look at the site, you can see the heavy lagenlook influence across the designs. There’s quite an extensive collection to view with a mix of more basic separates right through to some quite unique and bold pieces. As with a lot of collections, there’s always going to be something for everyone, and possibly lots of things not for everyone. But one thing I have come to learn about this brand is that the quality is outstanding and the size range is amazing.

    Look one – Work Ready

The first dress Justyna sent through is one of those basic tunic dresses that could really be styled for a lot of occasions. But I knew for me, even though I work from home most of the time now, this is one of those dresses I would have easily popped on for the office and felt amazing, yet incredibly comfortable in.

The dress is a soft angora mix fabric. It’s a deep charcoal/black and close up has flecks of white. It’s fitted on the arms with a loose cut to the bust and draped pockets. It’s just incredibly wearable, I can see this with jeans, leggings and tights. And the very best thing about this tunic? It goes up to a size 42. Yes you read that right. This is one of the biggest size ranges I have ever witnessed. Huge kudos to Wolfairy.

    Look Two – Something Different

I have the feeling this could be a bit of a marmite dress, you will either love it or hate it, but I do love it. It’s quirky, it’s different and it’s comfortable!

This dress goes up to a 28 which is still pretty impressive. It’s the same fabric as look one. But structurally completely different.  It’s fitted at the top, then balloons out with an oversized hip and draping pockets. Then to finish it off it has the frill bottom. Like I said this isn’t a dress for shy girls. And it comes in a range of colours too if you’re feeling even more adventurous.

    Look Three – Sports Luxe

I don’t know what made me style this outfit in a sporty way, but the cowl neck that goes into the hood made me want to don my workout gear and do something a little more edgy (yes I’m fully aware I’m a nearly 40 year old, boring mum haha).

I love that this piece is nice and long. It’s a lightweight but quality stretch jersey with pockets. I’m not sure if I should have sized up because it looks a lot more loose on the website, but I quite liked the fitted look. This piece also goes up to a size 42.

    Look Four – Relaxed Casual

This final look it a simple casual one. A grey marl cardigan should be a feature in everyone’s wardrobe. It’s a travel friendly, easy to throw on, goes with most outfits kinda piece.

In jest, I told Scott this was my ‘soccer mom’ outfit. But you know what, there’s nothing wrong with that. I am a mum and I do a lot of running around after Pops and this is the kind of outfit I’d do it in!

The cardigan itself is a gorgeous quality jersey with pockets (which we all love). And brucey bonus, this one goes up to a 42, too. Amazing stuff.

I was incredibly impressed with the quality of the garments from Wolfairy. The fabric and quality are really impressive. Delivery and returns are really easy and quick too. And that size range is just fantastic.
